If you haven’t joined the ranks yet, now’s the time to add your signature to the petition at http://www.callbackcongress.com. Not that our representatives don’t deserve a little time off for good behavior (or maybe not), but this is hardly the time for five weeks of it. Too much is at stake and Speaker Pelosi is stonewalling in a most unconvincing way.
If nothing else the Democrats need to listen to voters and realize how genuinely angry the base is over the intransigence. It just might be mistaken for left-wing elitism and that’s no way to win an election.
