Hillary Shows Her Claws

No longer running for president, the Hillary Clinton of old has re-emerged. Miaow!

Marcia Kramer of CBS2 HD reports that Senator “Clinton pulled out in a huff” from Monday’s anti-Iran rally at the United Nations.” Why? “Sen. Clinton pulled out because she did not want to attend the same event as the Republican vice presidential candidate.”

Hillary won’t share the stage with Governor Sarah Palin? Upstaged by the upstart from Alaska, Hillary has shown her lack of generosity and jealous nature. This is hardly what one would expect of someone who aspires to being the leader of the free world. While it may play well to her jilted base, it will hardly endear her to anyone else.

The more important story is the IRS threat to the organizers of the rally. However, without Hillary this entire episode and any damage that may attach to the Democrats would never have happened.

Pelosi – Not Responsible or Irresponsible

Speaker Pelosi had a pithy answer when asked if Democrats have any responsibility for the current financial mess.  “No,” was her simple reply. She also blamed the current financial mess on President Bush’s “mismanagement” of the economy. She must have missed John Gibson yesterday on FOX News.

Fannie and Freddie have been creations of the congressional Democrats and the Clinton White House, designed to make mortgages available to more people and, as it turns out, some people who couldn’t afford them.

Fannie and Freddie have also been places for big Washington Democrats to go to work in the semi-private sector and pocket millions.

Yet Democrats claim no responsibility for the current financial mess. Zero, zip, nada. Is this leadership or is this subterfuge?
